Report Piracy Form
A license is required for
each installation of the Slick! for Windows software. This is required by the
CAD Systems Unlimited, Inc. Software License Agreement, and failure to comply
with the license agreement is a violation of federal copyright law for both the
United States and Canada.
The following examples are
violations of the license agreement and constitute illegal use of the software:
- Installing a single-user license on multiple
machines using the same serial number and authorization code; File -
About Slick! shows the serial number being used;
- Installing the network license of the
software on individual computers instead of the file server as required by
the license agreement; if installed properly, the network license only
allows a fixed maximum number of concurrent users;
- Running the software using a serial number
issued to another company or enduser; Click on File - About Slick to
check on the serial number being used;
- Running the software in unrestricted
Demo mode; If the software is installed properly, the user is only allowed
15 executions; If the software is not installed properly, the program runs
without restrictions and File - About Slick shows "Demo Copy";
- Illegal bundling of the
software; Slick! for Windows may be bundled legally with other software as
long as a valid license is also purchased and issued to each enduser of the
bundled software. If you suspect that a company is illegally
distributing Slick! for Windows together with their software, please contact
CSUI immediately;
