Database Files The database option is not available for Slick! LT. Slick! v8.0 uses the same database format as Slick! v5.0, v5.1 and v5.2, v6.0 and v7.0. Starting from build V6.0.008, Slick! will always create new database records with uppercase pathname. This includes the fields for NAME, EXTENSION, PATH, and ARCHIVED. If you are updating or upgrading from a previous build or an older version, it is best that you convert these fields to uppercase before installing the update or upgrade. You may do this using dbase IV, FoxPro or any database program that will read and modify dbf files. If you are upgrading from v4.0 or earlier, Slick! will automatically convert your existing database files into the new format.
